Success in Transition

Identifying your transition success is key to optimising fertility, production and profitability in your herd.

We know that trends in transition failure can hide in AYR calving herds. The key is to recognise this, set targets and establish how to overcome the challenge. 

Our Success in Transition campaign is designed to help you do just that:

Transitions Workshops

Book onto one of our regional workshops across GB and get practical support in better understanding ways that you can recognise, chart, monitor and plan action against issues happening within 30 days before and after transtion.

Transiton Tracker Wallchart

To help you track your transition success we have created a transission trackier wall chart. Simply spot an issue between 30 days before or after calving and place the corresponding sticker.

Looking back you will then be able to clearly see any trends happening that could relate to hidden issues. A perfect preplan to review with your Vet and/or teams. To express you interest in a chart email stephen.west@ahdb.org.uk with your name and address in the first instance.
