Beef from Grass project meeting: Daventry

Join us for the final AHDB Beef from Grass meeting hosted by Tim Phipps at Bragborough hall near Daventry. Tim farms 180 spring calving suckler cows with bulls finished and females sold for breeding. He has been involved in the AHDB Beef from Grass project for the past four grazing seasons which aims to demonstrate the benefits of improved grassland management on beef farms.

Agenda

This event will cover topics including:

Creating a grassland management plan
Infrastructure requirements
How to manage grass when supply succeeds demand
Establishing reseeds and seed mixes

It will also be a great opportunity to discuss the changes Tim has made and reflect on what small changes could make a big difference to your own enterprise.
