Contagious ovine digital dermatitis (CODD) has become widespread in the national flock, with an estimated 30-50% of sheep farms affected.

Join AHDB and Jennifer Duncan, Senior Lecturer in Livestock Health and Welfare at the University of Liverpool, for an update on the recent advances in our understanding of CODD and advice on treatment and prevention strategies for the disease.

You will hear about the latest research, funded by AHDB, Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) and Biotechnology and Biologial Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), aimed to improve our understanding of how CODD arises, the role of different bacteria in its transmission and infection reservoirs.

The webinar will cover:

  • What causes CODD
  • How to treat CODD cases
  • How to control CODD in your flock

The event qualifies for RoSA points.

Please register online or by contacting the events team ke.events@ahdb.org.uk
