About the Speakers

Dr Mo Kemp – After qualifying from University of Glasgow Veterinary school, Mo has worked in private practice in Devon, Scotland and North Wales since 2004. Mo has also spent time at Glasgow and Liverpool Veterinary schools where she conducted further research into Bovine mastitis and gained her PhD.

Phil Clarke – Phil started his career as a consultant with Genus and Promar,  before becoming a Director of P&L AgriConsulting Ltd which he co-founded in 2004. Phil specialises in planning whole farm production, dairy nutrition and fertility / transition management.

IBERS PROSOILplus Maize Trial (Huw Powell) – the PROSOILplus project is working with John and Anna to develop a technique for sowing grass into maize early during the growth of the crop. It is anticipated that this could help protect the light soils at Rhual and contribute valuable grazing after maize harvest or early into the following Spring
