The main focus for this call is on causes of losses of calves/lambs around or soon after calving/lambing ie the primary focus is on animals that were alive and are no longer.

Arguably you could include abortion in this ‘around birth descriptor’ but that was not the main aim of the call, and we would consider infertility a separate problem.
